Sony will launch the Playstation Mobile October 3rd

According to Pocket Gamer, Sony will be launching their highly anticipated PlayStation Mobile service. 30 Games will be available at launch from various studios. Of course this will be only available to PlayStation Certified devices like the Xperia Ion and HTC One X but this is still fantastic news for game development on Android. Luckly, according to the report Canada will be one of the launch countries so October 3rd Canadians will get to see what Sony's PlayStation Mobile SDK brings to developers.

Sony Tablets getting updates to Android 4.0 in April

Looks like another round of Android Tablets will get a taste of ICS. This time around it's Sony's line of tablets that are stepping up for an update. While the Tablets were launch with less fanfare than other Tablets (namely the iPad), it's good to see Sony committed to bringing the latest software improvements to the their Tablets. So if you picked up either the Tablet S or Tablet P from Sony keep your eyes on the notification bar in April for your update.

Sony Tablet S hitting Canada in September

Sony announced today that one of their two Android Tablet offerings, the Tablet S, will be arriving in Canada in September. The Tablet S is a 9.4-inch Tegra 2 equipped Android tablet with a really unique design that really differs from other tablets on the market.
