HTC and Facebook to finally unveil the mythical "Facebook" phone?

We've seen the Status/ChaCha, we've seen the Salsa but HTC can't seem to shake off the rumors of a full fledged "Facebook" phone. We might finally have closure as the evidence begins to mount that Facebook "see our new home on Android event" will be the launch event for a co-branded phone with HTC.

Renowned twitter leaker evleaks has posted a picture of what looks like the handset in questions. Specs are rumored to be a 4.3 inch 720p display, 1GB of RAM, a Snadragon S4 Processor, 5MP Rear facing camera , LTE capabilities and a heavily modified (custom version) of Android. It no HTC One but isn't too far from last year's One X.

We'll just have to see what is unveiled this Thursday.

LG Optimus Black and INQ Cloud Touch to launch on TELUS

 

TELUS will be looking to bolster their Android lineup with two phone aimed at two different markets. One of the phones TELUS plans to launch is the LG Optimus Black while the other is the INQ Cloud Touch. Both phones should be hitting TELUS sometime this summer before the start of the new school year.

HTC has slowly but surely emerged as, not only, one of the top mobile device manufacturers but one of the top tech companies in the world. Their conquering of the mobile tech world has been one for the ages, but Canada seems to be one of the hard markets for it to break into.

HTC announces two "Facebook" centric phones

Rumors had been churning for a few weeks now about a Facebook phone, and more recently there had been talks of a Facebook phone built by HTC. Both rumors were vehemently denied by Mark Z of Facebook but recently HTC has revealed that they are the real deal (sort of, if by "Facebook phone" one means dedicated Facebook buttons).
