Our friends at Samsung have just let us know that the Canadian Galaxy Notes are going to be receiving a software upgrade pack that includes a suite multimedia apps and S Pen optimized apps in conjunction with ICS. The rollout of the software is supposed to start tomorrow. Check out the full press release after the break.

Bell upgrade schedule leaked
Looks like Bell's Android upgrade list has been leaked, although we do wish they were more transparent about their upgrade schedule like TELUS. Still we are happy nonetheless to report that the following phones will get their ICS update on the follow dates, while it's not Jelly Bean it's good to see nonetheless, check out the list after the break.

Android ICS upgrade for several phones with updated timelines
We knew that the Galaxy Note was slated for an upgrade to ICS but we now get a clearer idea of when the update will occur for two carrier branded versions. The Rogers Galaxy Note is slated for an upgrade to ICS July 21st while the TELUS version is slated for "Late July" which we expect to be around the time the Rogers version gets updated. Other TELUS phones have also gotten an updated status on their ICS upgrade as the HTC Desire HD will be getting it's ICS upgrade soon than expected on July 17 rather than the 25th as originally planned, the Optimus LTE's upgrade has been pushed to August 7th rather than July and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 are slated for an upgrade in August.

Bell announced exclusive launch of Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE
Our friends at Bell just sent us an email announcing that they will be the exclusive carrier of the Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE. This will be the one of the first phones in Canada to sport a 720p screen as well as support for 4G LTE (the other being the HTC One X). At 4.65-inches with a 720p Super AMOLED HD screen this is very similarly speced to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Check out the official press release after the break.

Samsung Galaxy Note Update Delayed to pack in extra S-Pen software
Looks like Galaxy Note owners will have to wait a bit longer for their taste of ICS. Samsung has announced that the update will be pushed back to Q2 2012 to add in extra "Premium Suite" of apps to enhance the S-Pen functionality. Some of the features seem pretty interesting but worth the wait to get ICS? We aren't too sure. Especially given that there is nothing stopping Samsung from releasing the ICS update then at a later date releasing the "Premium Suite". Check the video after the break for a demo of the new enhancements to S-Pen functionality that will come with the ICS update.

Samsung officially announces ICS for the Galaxy S II as well as "Value Pack" for Galaxy S
Well it seems that someone at Samsung's PR had jumped the gun as Samsung "Officially" announced that ICS would be rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S IIs in Asia and Europe gradually followed by other markets. Worth noting is that they mention the Galaxy Tabs (10.1 and 8.9), Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy Note will follow suit after and that the Galaxy S line would be receiving a value pack which includes "Facebook Unlock, Snapshot, Photo Editor, and others". We aren't sure what "Facebook Unlock" means but we're guessing it's a typo for Face Unlock. See the full announcement after the break.
