WIND has released the LG Optimus 4X HD and Huawei Ascend G312
Wind has launched a pair of Android handsets to bolster their already large smartphone lineup. The LG Optimus 4X and Huawei Ascend G312 are the latest additions to the AWS carriers portfolio. The LG Optimus 4X is the Tegra 3 Quad Core successor to the Tegra 2 Dual Core 2X. It sports a 4.7-inch 720p display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 8MP camera /w flash and 1.3MP front facing cam, Android 4.0.3 and is capable of 21mbps speeds. It shores up WIND's offerings as their top LG device.
The Huawei Ascend G312 on the other hand is a more midrange QWERTY device sporting a 1.4GHz Single Core Qualcomm processor, 1GB of RAM, 4-inch WVGA screen, 4GB of internal storage, a 5MP rear facing camera capable of 720p recording and 0.3MP front facing camera for video chat. The WIND re-branded version of T-Mobile's myTouch Q ships unfortunately with Android 2.3.6 making it obviously aimed at the midrange to entry level customers.
