[Update] Samsung Galaxy S III specs leaked on AnTuTu Benchmarks

As we inch closer to May 3rd, the news and leaks just keep trickling in. This time it's the hardware specifications of the Galaxy S III. It looks like, according to AnTuTu (a benchmark suite), the Galaxy S III will be sporting a Dual Core 4212 Exynos Processor. This is a bit of a shocker, as many expected the SGSIII to be a Quad Core device (in response to HTC's Quad Core One X) but it's clear to see form the benchmark results that this is a crazy powerful Dual-Core besting the Quad Core Tegra 3 in synthetic AnTuTu benchmarks. This isn't the first time we've seen a Dual-Core go toe to toe with the fabled Tegra 3 and come out ahead but it certainly means that this will be a FAST phone.

[Update:] Samsung has announced that the Quad Core Exynos 4 will be powering the SGSIII but also say that US version will most likely get the Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU for 4G LTE compatibility. This will be interesting for Canadians as we were treated to both the Exynos version (from Bell) and Snapdragon versions (from TELUS and Rogers) of the SGS II.
