Motorola Moto X will get upgrade to Android 4.4

With the official announcement of the latest version of Android, OEMs are now evaluating which of their phone will be able to run the latest version of Google's Mobile OS. For Motorola the Moto X is the their flagship so it's only natural that their flagship be up to date with the latest version of Android.

Given that Motorola is owned by Google and that the Moto X is running an almost stock version of Android we are surprised that the Moto X is still only running Android 4.2 rather than 4.3.

Motorola has stated via their website that the Moto X is in line to an upgrade to Android 4.4. This is great news for Moto X owners but unfortunately there is no timeline for the update.
