Sony Xperia ZL getting Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean

When we got to spend some time with the Xperia ZL, we were pretty impressed with Sony's co-flagship for 2013. The handset was quite a remarkable improvement over Sony's previous efforts. One thing that Sony Ericsson might have had a spotty track record on was software updates. Sony looks to like they are trying to improve on that by keeping up to date with their co-flagship device the Xperia ZL.

Today word is is the the Xperia ZL is getting an Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean rollout on the European LTE model. Hopefully this means that an update for the Rogers and Bell version is in short order. We'll let you know when it goes down.
