LG Optimus G getting upgrade to Jelly Bean 4.1 later this month

Our friends at LG have just let us know that the LG Optimus G's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is now in testing. It should be headed to Optimus G devices on Rogers, Bell, TELUS by the end of March. Of course this is dependent on the testing by carriers going pretty smoothly.

This is one of the first times we hear an OEM make the prediction rather than a carrier, so we expect that LG is very confident no hiccups will be found in the update by any of the carrier testing. Official press release after the break.
