Can AT&T's first LTE handset, Samsung Impulse 4G, also be one of Rogers' first LTE devices?

Not too long ago Rogers had announced that it had lit up it's brand spanking new LTE network. With plans to roll out LTE to many major markets by this fall and more by 2012 one has to wonder; "Where are the LTE phone?" Rogers had stated that they would be getting LTE handsets from Samsung and their newly reconciled buddy HTC. Today, we got a glimpse of what could be one of those Samsung Rogers' LTE devices, the Samsung Impulse 4G. Check out our reason why we think it's headed to Rogers after the break.

The "Impulse 4G" which seems like a GSM/HSPA/LTE version of the Verizon LTE capable DROID Charge. Like the HTC Puccini/Jetstream we believe the Impulse 4G is headed to Rogers for many of the same reasons. While we don't have proof that it is equipped with AWS LTE BGR is slating this for AT&T.

We also know that on at least two occasion Rogers' has picked up AT&T bound Samsung devices (Galaxy S Captivate and Galaxy S Infuse 4G), so it's only natural to assume that if this phone is headed to AT&T there's a betting man's chance Rogers will get this phone as well.

Now it remains to be seen whether or not this phone is an LTE equipped Samsung Galaxy S II, or like the DROID Charge and Infuse 4G, a beefed up Galaxy S. We believe (and hope) for the former rather than the latter and seeing as how Rogers just launched the Infuse 4G so recently it doesn't make much sense to launch yet another similar phone simply because it's equipped with LTE. Who knows...
